Nigel Farage began his career in 1982 as a commodities trader at the London Metal Exchange and years later ran his own metals brokerage firm. He left a successful career to become a founding member of UKIP in 1993 and set about campaigning for Britain’s EU withdrawal. UKIP’s major successful result in the 2014 European Election eventually forced the Conservative party to hold a referendum on European Union membership. In June 2016, Farage was a leading figure in the campaign to leave. This gained him the name “Mr Brexit” by Republican Presidential candidate Donald J Trump, whom he supported at a rally on the campaign trail.

In 2019 Nigel launched a new political party, the Brexit Party which stormed to victory in 6 weeks in the European elections. This lead directly to the resignation of Prime Minister Theresa May and Boris Johnson’s ensuing success.

Nigel stepped back from frontline politics and is now providing political analysis for British and international audiences.

In 2023, he won News Presenter of the year at the annual Television and Radio Industry Awards for his daily show on GB News. in addition he appeared on the highest watched reality tv show in the United-Kingdom, “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”.

From July 2023 until the present day, he has dominated financial and, at times, news agendas with his fightback against being debanked by NatWest group this has led to the sacking of two CEOs and a promise from Government to change the law around political debanking.
